Each episode is better and better. It's very well written and has good foreshadowing and build up, so when the information/outcome is revealed it is incredible.

アニメ全体の評価はいいんだけど今回はもっとドラマチックな演出とか出来たと思う。

One of my favorite manga. A slow-burn love story that veers into the dark and melancholic as our protagonist struggles with her survivor's guilt and depression over the loss of her family while wishing she could join them in death and finding salvation in a creature-in-human-form that she sees as a physical manifestation of the force that took her family away. One that offered her the death she craves for in a paradoxical way that is the core conflict and drama of the story.

Wishing the best to the author, editorial department and anime production team for bringing us this series. for a show with monsters in it, it's oddly relaxing. the visuals changes from the regular scenes and hinako's thoughts is carefully adapted too which is I like from this series adaption.

This anime is so important to me, I love the use of metaphors and imagery of sea to describe the feeling of being numb and dissociated with jisatsu tendency. 🤍🫧 I especially loved episode 3 and can't wait for more!!

夏祭りでフラッシュバックしたシーンが切ない。全体的に平成の伝奇ノベルゲームの匂いがする所がお気に入り。

The story is compelling.

「わたたべ」。 これは、「わたなれ」系のGL作品なのかな？…と思って、みたけど、かなりテイスト（雰囲気、方向性）が違いますね。 主人公の御家族の話など…人生にこの世に絶望している人が「にもかかわらず生きていく意味を見出す」。 これがメインテーマになるのだろうか？

期待以上のクオリティでとても嬉しいです！ 例えば、比名子の心象風景シーン、 海の中のように人の声が遠ざかっていく表現が丁寧で原作ファンとして嬉しかったです！！海の中や魚達もかなり綺麗に描写されていて感動致しました。 また、伊予旅行で行ったとこががっつり出てるので、全部見覚えがあるぞ！！となったりしていました。アニメになると土地の距離感などがより分かりやすくて学校の場所とか、モデルの伊予農業学校より海に近いんだな〜とか、 塩美橋の近くにある工場？はアニメの中でも存在するのかと色々思っていました！ あと、比名子ちゃんの声もイメージしている感じで嬉しかったです！ 個人的な上田さんの声のイメージが割れてしまいそうな硝子のような儚いイメージなら、比名子ちゃんは海に溶けそうてしまいそうな儚い声のイメージだったので、絶妙に違うニュアンスを表現していただき本当に嬉しいです！また、汐莉さんも美胡ちゃんも脳内再生していた声そのものでワクワクしながら観させていただきました！✨✨ また、妖怪への描写も力が入っていて、元々妖怪好きの身としてはとても嬉しく大喜びしました！！怪奇的な表現も力の入れてくれているのも
