The beach episode was so fun and thrilling! The action scenes were superb and there were a lot of funny scenes. Akane's expressions from being jealous, to worrying and then smiling fondly all because of Ranma were adorable. The way they always care about each other despite the chaos is evident in this work and I am thankful for it.

One of my favorite manga. A slow-burn love story that veers into the dark and melancholic as our protagonist struggles with her survivor's guilt and depression over the loss of her family while wishing she could join them in death and finding salvation in a creature-in-human-form that she sees as a physical manifestation of the force that took her family away. One that offered her the death she craves for in a paradoxical way that is the core conflict and drama of the story.
